Sebastian’s BIO.
He/Him/His
With over a decade in the fitness industry, Sebastian specializes in providing his clients the same attention to detail that a professional athlete would receive through customized training solutions to fit their goals. His high-energy direct approach is mixed with a dose of humor to ensure you’re never bored and always on your toes. He’s a firm believer that, “in this life we’re all athletes in one way or another, that every day is game day, and we need to be prepared.”
Sebastian has always been driven to serve his greater community. In previous careers, he was a licensed emergency medical technician, a volunteer fireman, and later enlisted to fulfill his dream to become a Navy Seal. Unfortunately, during preliminary training in the Navy, he suffered severe injuries that forced him to abruptly quit—resulting in a broken dream (and a torn bicep femoris, gastroc, soleus and Achilles’ tendon that was on its way out). Instead of dwelling on what he couldn’t control, he found a way to turn a negative into a positive. During his physical rehabilitation along with being mentored in physical injuries, a new passion began to organically unfold, and Sebastian Hagemeyer Health and Fitness was born. Today, Sebastian is laser-focused on combining the skills and principles developed from his early days during his service in the medical field and US Navy as well as his work with the nation's brightest minds in sports performance, exercise science, and rehabilitation to ensure others find their way back from an injury just as he did—but more importantly, preventing them and living a life that is pain free and playful.
In addition to being founder of Sebastian Hagemeyer Health and Fitness, he’s a certified personal trainer, USA Weightlifting L1 Coach, a Precision Nutrition specialist, EXOS performance coach, a local health and fitness provider, and fitness enthusiast. His clients range from every level from professional athletes to those who’re just looking to improve their quality of life.
Outside of the training studio, Sebastian currently lives in San Francisco’s Sunset District where he enjoys spending time with his friends and family—participating in a range of activities that include surfing, cycling, running, hiking, snowboarding, boxing, grappling - along with competing in marathons, triathlons, and other various sporting events and races. He also knows all the words to every Taylor Swift song and has a pretty solid sneaker collection.

TESTIMONIALS.
I can say without hesitation that I would not have achieved my goals without Sebastian's help. His workout regimens were brutal but efficient and his enthusiasm for fitness was contagious. He helped me establish long-lasting healthy workout and diet habits. I cannot recommend him enough.
— Devin M,
Ultra-Distance Cyclist
One of my biggest fears is the inability to pursue the sports I love. After I suffered a soccer related injury, Sebastian was there to offer me the support I needed. He created a personalized program for me that focused on rehabilitation, stabilization and strengthening of my leg and body. His workouts are intense but exhilarating and have pushed me to test my limits, in the best way possible. The attention and passion Sebastian sets forth in his work shows and if it was not for him, I would not be where I am today doing what I love.

D1 USF Soccer Player
In 2017, I suffered a serious spinal cord injury while surfing. Sebastian and I began working together shortly after I regained the ability to walk [assisted by crutches]. His training has been instrumental in not only recovering functional abilities but building towards becoming an athlete again. I couldn't be more appreciative of our time together or recommend him more highly.
