Jon’s BIO.
He/Him/His
Jon has always been an athlete. Growing up, he played soccer, football, basketball and baseball — Baseball being his true passion. Pitching and playing third base all the way through the collegiate level, Jon has shared the field with many professional athletes, coaches and trainers who know what it takes to compete at a high level. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Jon traded in his spikes for running shoes and finished top 10 in his first race!
Combining his passion for physical activity with over 15 years of training experience, Jon strives to provide a safe space for his clients where they feel comfortable expressing their training needs, educated enough to perform the movements asked of them and motivated to reach their goals. JDLT is a top-notch personal fitness and run coaching program designed to help anybody looking to see results. Jon works with runners of all levels (beginner - Boston marathon qualifier) and understands the importance of becoming a stronger and smarter runner.
His PR’s include a 3:05 Marathon, 1:24:37 Half Marathon, and 39:41 10K. When he's not training, Jon enjoys hanging out with his wife Caitlin and two kids Marley and Baker. Roaming through the city with his corgi, Hamilton and is always on the lookout for a new brewery to check out.

I met Jon at DIAKADI, where his positive energy, and enthusiasm to help others immediately got my attention! I approached Jon to help me discover the most accurate metabolic rate training that I needed to enhance my body composition for a show! I scheduled both EMR/RMR tests with Jon & he created an online program for me to follow using the results! As a result of working with Jon, I understand my optimal training protocol, prevent injury/metabolic damage, and maintain longer workout periods rather than feeling burnout or quit due to over training or under eating, which is what I experienced in 2010 when I hired another coach to train me for a bikini contest. If you want to bring a healthy balance back to your training, desire more accurate & optimal levels of fitness, I highly recommend Jon & both EMR/RMR tests!

When I first met Jon, I was training with another personal trainer. However, after spending just one hour with Jon, I knew he was the one who would get me to my goal: qualify for the Boston Marathon. My best marathon time was 4:20 and I just couldn’t figure out how to get my time down. With Jon’s plan, I accomplished my goal within 4 1/2 months (twice! 2 separate marathons). I also lost 20 pounds and have never felt stronger. Jon is very knowledgeable about what he does and so supportive. He personalizes each workout plan to the individual. Even when I have a bad day, I leave our workouts feeling like all is right again. With Jon leading the way, I know I will make it to my next goal: running the Western States 100. I have no doubt!
