Dustin Millhollen, MS in Nutrition, MA in Philosophy, CSCS, is the founder and co-owner of Mazama Wellness, a fitness coaching and wellness company with the mission of helping people become the most vibrant version of themselves through longevity focused exercise and nutrition coaching. Dustin’s approach to exercise consists of a blend of resistance and interval training that increases muscle and strength, reduces body fat, improves cardiorespiratory fitness, power, mobility, balance, stability, resilience to injury, and cognition - all the important features of a longevity training program. He combines strength, hypertrophy, and circuit training to provide the most comprehensive and efficient workout possible. 

Dustin’s extensive knowledge of nutrition and sustainable approach to eating means nutrition coaching isn’t just counting calories, but rather optimizing your diet by analyzing your nutrition status and addressing any deficiencies to make sure you’re eating optimally and firing on all cylinders. This is done using a software program called Cronometer to get a snapshot of where you stand, which will be the starting place for individualized nutrition coaching that fits into your life with gradual changes that take place over time. These changes include adding specific foods to address nutrient deficiencies, adjusting macros to achieve goals, dietary protocols to improve digestive health, and food prep and habit coaching. Dustin believes when you eat optimally, your health goals fall into place.

In addition to his exercise and nutrition expertise, Dustin offers a calm and intentional demeanor. This means that time spent training with him will not only be enjoyable, but educational, since he takes the time to help you understand the why behind your workout. A knowledgeable client is an empowered one and understanding the rationale behind the plan will set you up for success. After all, your success is the number one goal. In addition to teaching, Dustin is also highly adept at customizing workouts and selecting exercises that work around or address limitations or injuries. He makes it a priority to meet you where you are so that you get the most out of your workouts and feel energized afterwards.
